- The agent uploads to the Global Editors Hub the descriptive dossiers of the works represented by their authors — not the complete manuscripts — together with the analytical reports prepared in respect of each work.

Editors and producers from every quarter of the globe consult the Hub in search of works consonant with their editorial or production interests.
By means of an advanced search facility, endowed with multiple filters, they locate the items of interest and, in lieu of perusing the full manuscript, inspect one, several, or the entire suite of twenty-six analytical reports appended to each dossier.
From a swift, concentrated perusal of those reports, the editor or producer attains a brisk and assured judgement as to whether the work is amenable to editorial intervention, suitable for publication, and — above all — promising from a commercial standpoint.
Should the work arouse interest, the editor or producer will contact the agent and request the complete manuscript; the agent will thereupon transmit it.
An exchange of information and terms then ensues between editor and agent — a course of negotiation which may, if both parties so desire, culminate in the conclusion of a publishing contract with the author.
While editors and producers consult the Hub, authors who have entrusted their works to Dogmouth will be granted access to a secure, restricted area within the Hub where they may view only the descriptive dossier for their own work (they will not have access to technical reports nor to the full content of third parties). In that private space, and in the spirit of full transparency, a series of counters and metrics — presented clearly and anonymously — will display the editorial activity surrounding their dossier: the number of visits by editors and producers, the aggregated geographic origin of those visits, the quantity of report requests, and any other quantifiable interactions (for example: markers of interest, authorised downloads, or contact requests). These indicators enable the author to obtain a swift and intelligible read on the degree of professional attention their work attracts, without compromising the confidentiality or the established workflows between agents and editors.
Furthermore, for added reassurance, the data will be shown only in aggregated form and will not identify individuals or institutions; Global Editors Hub guarantees that any direct communication between editor and agent will proceed through the customary channels of professional confidentiality and mediation that define our service.
Note. The principal language of the Global Editors Hub website is Spanish. Within the platform, each author’s profile —corresponding to a manuscript— shall be presented in Spanish, while the synopsis will appear in the original language of the work. All remaining elements of the profile, including the agent’s remarks, the author’s biographical details, the Editorial Status, the genre and sub-genres, will likewise be rendered in Spanish. Once an editor or producer expresses interest in a particular profile and requests the full manuscript, all subsequent correspondence —together with the language in which it is conducted— shall proceed, at the editor’s discretion, either in English or in Spanish.
